Warranty Claims
If a valid warranty claim is made, TargetDoors, at its sole discretion, will either:- Repair the product.
- Replace the product in its original condition.
Reporting Defects
All defects must be reported within five (5) days of product delivery; otherwise, the product will be deemed acceptable. After the initial 5 days, TargetDoors offers a one-time replacement of defective hardware at no cost. Shipping is the responsibility of the claimant, and defective hardware must be returned within fourteen (14) days of receiving the replacement.Inspection Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the distributor, user, contractor, or installer to inspect the products before installation. If the product does not meet the order specifications, it should not be installed, and TargetDoors must be notified for return and correction.Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:- Improperly installed products or those installed without a sill pan.
- Structural issues, improper sizing, flawed building design, or environmental damage.
- Products installed in unsafe or inaccessible locations.
- Replacement or modification of factory-supplied components.
- Damage due to improper adjustment or lack of maintenance.
- Altered products or those with aftermarket electric operators.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable circumstances.
- Unauthorized repair attempts.
- Corrosion or discoloration due to harsh substances or environmental conditions.
- Penetration by water, wind, or particles in systems without proper drainage.
- Normal wear and tear, including glass imperfections or condensation.
- Screen damage due to environmental conditions, misuse, or improper assembly.
Note: Screens are not designed to contain pets or children safely.

The air and climate in seacoast or saltwater environments are highly corrosive and abrasive, causing significant damage to products installed in these areas. Even with regular maintenance, products in these environments deteriorate faster than those in other locations. If you install TargetDoors products in seacoast or saltwater environments, please note the following conditions and exclusions:Regular Cleaning:
- Clean all surfaces monthly with mild detergent soap and water to prevent the buildup of salt and other corrosive substances.
- Remove sand, dirt, and debris from all surfaces, tracks, and recessed areas to avoid obstruction and damage. Sand is particularly harmful to tracks, rollers, weather stripping, and other components.
Hardware and Finishes:
- Hardware, handle sets, and finishes are not warranted in seacoast or saltwater environments. They will need to be replaced more frequently at the homeowner’s expense.
Paint Coating:
- Repair any breaches in the exterior paint coating, such as scratches or chips, immediately to prevent exposure of the metal substrate to the elements.
- Custom color aluminum paint finishes in these environments are warranted for one year.
Warranty Claims:
- Claims must be made within thirty (30) days of noticing a defect. Contact the dealer/representative from whom the product was purchased to process the claim.
- Dealers should submit warranty claims in writing, including the product invoice number, within the provided temporal limitations and before starting any repair work.
